Resident Forum Grants

Residents’ Forum Grants can fund anything that may help to benefit people and places where Arena owns properties. Projects, initiatives or improvements can be large or small. All applications will be judged on their merit by Residents’ Forum members who may also be able to help gain funding for your idea from other sources.

Estate or property improvement
i.e. security lights, environmental improvements. It may be necessary to consult with other residents. A service charge may be needed to maintain the improvement. Need to investigate how much this could be before any work is carried out.
Community Initiatives

i.e. community projects for facilities such as youth activities or equipment. Events and campaigns (although not for food, drink or party decorations).

Residents Group
Groups can apply for an annual payment of £200 towards day to day running costs. Practical help can also be provide, such as training, photocopying, room hire etc.

Residents Forum Members judge applications every six weeks.

To apply for a grant contact your Housing Renewal Officer. Once the application is completed the Housing Renewal Officer will contact the Residents Forum Initiatives Team for them to put forward an application to the next Resident Forum Grant Committee.

Anfield has a budget of £9,500. The Residents Panel meet every six weeks where the HRO will put the application forward for consideration. If the application needs to be considered before the next Resident Panel meeting, three residents from the Panel will meet with the Housing and Regeneration Manager to discuss and make a decision on the application.
